Registration is 8-9:00 AM, 1st Floor Rotunda, near the entrance on the south side. There will be Dunkin' Donuts and coffee courtesy of the Edmond Republican Women's Club. Coffee and donuts must be finished before entering the House Chambers for the meeting.
Alice Boydston will be there to make sure Board members are properly credentialed. If you haven't paid, please have your $15 check or cash ready. If you are paying for multiple people, please have a list of those names.
You will be given a ticket for lunch at the Pavilion--and you'll want to keep it for your chance to win a beautiful elephant necklace!
Meeting starts at 9:00 AM PROMPT in the House Chambers, which is on the 4th floor, West of the Rotunda.
We will hear from legislators from all over Oklahoma and at 10:30 AM, Gov. Mary Fallin will speak.
Our annual group photo will be taken on the House Floor immediately following her remarks (around 10:45 AM) so make sure you have your lipstick freshened up! Encourage your legislators to join us!
The OFRW Board of Directors will convene their brief meeting at 11:00 AM. Non-Board members can visit their legislator's offices, tour the Art Gallery, or just catch up with friends.
The luncheon will be at the Philips Pavilion on the grounds of the Governor's Mansion. The underground tunnel is closed for repair so please be careful for those walking across the parking lots and crossing busy Lincoln Blvd.
There will be a shuttle for those who cannot walk the long distance to the Governor’s Mansion. The shuttle seats 24 and with 165 people signed up to attend, we ask that you consider walking if you are healthy enough to do so or we won't get lunch started on time.
Airport Shuttle will pick up at the south end of the South Capitol Plaza beginning at 11:15 AM, returning approximately every 10 to 15 minutes for additional passengers. The shuttle is not wheelchair accessible so if you need those accommodations, please work with your legislator to get assigned parking on the Senate side; notify Gaylene Stupic if you plan to park near the Pavilion to see if there are spaces still available.
Lunch begins promptly at Noon, catered by Head Country BBQ. Special guest, Pam Kanaly from Arise Ministries, will give our inspirational thought and prayer.
Keynote speaker will be Attorney General Scott Pruitt.
We have 2 special give-aways at lunch so don't lose your ticket!
